This protected sanctuary is located in the middle of a dense forest and is usually free of poachers.
However, the terrified workers left no stone unturned in their search for the kidnapped baby Clarita.
They eventually discovered the baby, who was being held captive by Rizki, a 14-year-old dominant male orangutan!
The workers discovered Clarita was severely weakened after rescuing her from the clutches of the alpha male kidnapper.
She also had a skin condition that required immediate attention in the critical care unit.
Clarita was finally out of danger after days of treatment, but she remained quite frail.

The workers were afraid to reintroduce Clarita to Clara at this point.
While Clara had been distraught since her daughter went missing, the workers knew that mama orangutans reject and attack their vulnerable offspring if they believe they have no chance of survival.

We see the tense moments as the workers bring Clarita to her heartbroken mother in this video.
Clara is initially perplexed, but she quickly succumbs to her maternal instincts and embraces her daughter with all her love!

Workers cry as they see the emotional Clara clutching her baby tightly while attempting to nurse her.
The mother only wishes to protect her precious child!
We wish Clara and Clarita a long and happy marriage!
