Victim of the dog meat trade has the opportunity to start a real family, but she refuses

According to ilovemydogsomuch, a dog later named Motery was discovered alone with her mouth taped shut.

Her back legs were also tied with a shoelace.
They were heartbroken when they finally found Motery.
How could anyone be so inhumane to an animal?
It is truly unthinkable.
Motery (also known as Mo for short) is a victim.
She is not only a victim of animal cruelty and abuse, but also of the underground dog meat trade.
While dog meat farms are illegal in Bali, they continue to operate.
Rescuers believe Mo escaped slaughter by leaping from a vehicle on its way to the farm.
She’d been wandering by herself ever since.

It’s a miracle she’s still alive with her hind legs bound and her mouth sealed.
Mo’s rescuers took her to a nearby vet clinic to get her the care she requires.
Mo was severely malnourished and dehydrated as a result of his inability to eat or drink.
To regain her strength, she required IV fluids and supplemental nutrition.

Mo is only five months old, according to the vet.
She’s only a baby!
She developed a serious infection as a result of her mouth being sealed.
She has been given a high dose of antibiotics.
Everyone held their breath as the tape was removed from her mouth.
They knew it would be frightening for her.
Fortunately, she was given pain medication as well as light sedation.
The puppy was a real trooper!

Mo gained weight in a matter of weeks.
She demonstrated her strength to everyone.
Despite being mistreated, she had nothing but love to give.
It was very inspiring.
To be able to forgive the human race for such unspeakable cruelty demonstrates how unique she is.
Mo could finally eat on her own.
Despite this, the vet determined that she would require snout surgery.
She required skin graphs and reconstructive surgery in order to live as normal a life as possible.
This allowed her to eat more easily and even play like a puppy should!
Mo didn’t just make it through surgery; she outdid herself!

Mo’s rescuers were concerned that her appearance would put off potential adopters.
They were also concerned that Mo, who had grown accustomed to the vet clinic, would struggle to adjust to a new life in a forever home.
Thankfully, adoption applications flooded in after Mo’s story was shared on social media.

A lovely couple wrote a lovely letter to Mo’s rescuers.
This undoubtedly elevated their application to the top!
Mo’s rescuers called the couple and asked if they wanted to meet Mo.
Everyone was terrified.
Mo had been through a lot, and while she was a sweet person, she could be shy around new people.
