Two Pit Bulls No-One Wanted Cling Together For Comfort In Shelter And Find A Forever For Both Of Them

Some puppies form bonds that are so strong that they become inseparable.Pair-bonded dogs are inseparably attached to one another and cannot imagine life without the other.Puppies frequently form a pair bond with a sibling or another pup with whom they have spent significant time and grown up.

However, pair bonds can form even if the pups do not grow up together.Jukebox and Agatha, two pit bulls who arrived separately at the Pima Animal Care Center in Tuscon, Arizona, but quickly developed a special bond with each other.

Jukebox, a beautiful stray, was the first to arrive at the shelter, and one month later, sweet Agatha was brought there after her owners had to give her up.They were both depressed, anxious, and lonely, but all of that was about to change.

The pups soon met in a playgroup at the shelter and realized they were meant to be together.They quickly formed a strong pair bond, and once they’d found each other, it was much easier for them both to adjust to life at the shelter.

Living in a shelter can be extremely stressful for some dogs, and both Jukebox and Agatha were experiencing anxiety.But now that they had each other to lean on for support and strength, they discovered that there was nothing they couldn’t handle together.

When the shelter staff realized the extent of Agatha and Jukebox’s bond, they knew they couldn’t separate the pups.They were like two halves who would never feel whole unless their missing piece was present.

The adorable pair was transferred to a single kennel where they enjoyed snuggling up to each other and spending as much time as possible together.They insisted on sleeping in the same bed.

While it was wonderful that the couple became more secure and comfortable with each other’s support, their bond was also a little risky.

Finding a family willing to adopt two dogs at once is often more difficult than finding someone to adopt a single dog.Unfortunately, their beautiful bond as well as their breed made them unappealing to many potential adopters.

But separating the two dogs was simply out of the question.To improve their chances, the shelter highlighted them on Facebook in the hopes that someone would be inspired to give them a good home.

And the post went viral.People fell in love with the bonded pair, and Jukebox and Agatha quickly went viral.The post was shared thousands of times and brought tears to many people’s eyes.

Their bond touched many people, and everyone hoped that the adorable couple would find a wonderful family who could provide them with all the love they deserved.

Facebook fame does not always translate to real-world success, but it worked out for these lucky pups; it only took a few weeks for a loving family to decide that Agatha and Jukebox would be a perfect addition to their family.

Their new parents, Erin and Ubaldo, adore their new little family members and are astounded by the pups’ sweet and gentle personalities.Agatha and Jukebox settled into their new home quickly and have since brought love and happiness to each other and their new family.
