Scarlett, a young girl, has discovered the secret to getting a good night’s sleep: her 99-pound rescue pit bull.
Scarlett formed an instant bond with Lebowski when the Geiger family adopted him from Priceless Pet Rescue four years ago.
Scarlett met Lebowski when she was four and he was ten weeks old, according to Scarlett’s mother, Jennifer Geiger. “She fell in love with his adorable face and adored her pet!” “They seemed to like each other right away.”
Lebowski began following his older sister around and imitating her behavior. She dressed up the puppy, invited her to tea parties, and observed her as she completed her homework.
Napping was the Lebowskis’ favorite activity to do together.
“Lebowski has snuggled up to nap near Scar since we first got him home,” Geiger added. “They’ve fallen asleep on the couch together several times.”
Lebowski began to disappear at night around the age of eight months. “There were times when I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t find him,” Geiger admitted.
Geiger eventually discovered Lebowski “like a monster” lurking under Scarlett’s bed.
When Geiger entered Scarlett’s room one night, he found Lebowski dozing beside her. “He made himself at home by her side and hasn’t stopped since,” Geiger added.
Years later, Scarlett and Lebowski are still sharing her twin bed. “No matter where they sleep in this house, they’re always together, and that’s all that matters to them,” Geiger wrote on Instagram.
Geiger secretly taped their tender embraces; now all Lebowski has to do is find his way to Scarlett’s room – assuming she isn’t at a sleepover. “When we tell him to go to bed, he rushes over to Scar and snuggles up,” Geiger explained. “It’s the cutest thing ever.”
“When they’re not together, he keeps a close eye on his girl and mopes around,” she continued. “Their friendship is quite unique, and we consider ourselves fortunate to witness their love as they grow and experience life together.”
