Superman Actor Henry Cavill Says His Pet Dog ‘Saved’ Him From Mental Health Struggles

Henry Cavill, a British actor, is best known to fans as Superman in the recent blockbuster films Man of Steel and Justice League.He also appeared in Enola Holmes and Mission: Impossible — Fallout.Cavill recently spoke out about his dog, Kal, as the friend who has given him the most support.Even “superheroes” require assistance from time to time.

Cavill’s 8-year-old American Akita is well-known to fans who follow him on social media because he is not shy about posting pictures of his canine companion online.In a previous post, Kal was described as a “amazing jewel” who was “half dog, part bear, part pig, and all soul.”

Cavill wrote, “I’ve had him since he was 10 weeks old, and we’ve been through thick and thin together.””We spend so much time together that I’m not sure who is imitating who anymore!””He truly is my best friend; we go everywhere together,” Cavill told the Daily Mail.”He has saved my emotional and psychological bacon plenty of times,” he said of Kal’s assistance with his mental health.”We have an extremely close relationship,” Cavill explained.”When I’m wearing my own clothes, he’ll be close — he’s almost always close, but he’ll be closer.”
