Pit Bull Rescued from an Overpass Finds His Forever Home With The Woman Who Saved Him

A woman was driving down a freeway in Portland, Oregon, when she noticed something being thrown over an overpass.

It appeared to be a bag at first, but she soon realized it was a pit bull.
She immediately pulled over and called her child, April Eells.

Mama rushed the pet over to April, who works at a veterinary clinic.
The poor pet had suffered broken bones and torn tendons, and he required extensive surgery to be repaired.

The Eells family members began raising funds, and they were successful!

The family members formed a special bond with the pet dog, Hank, and decided to adopt him!

Furthermore, Hank represents April Eells’ daughter, who attempted to commit suicide last year by jumping from an overpass but thankfully survived.

“We can’t just turn over on him,” April explained to KPTV.
“They’ve both made it.
And also, my very own child had surgery again today, and he had surgery last week, so I simply want them to be there for whatever reason…
There’s this parallel, and he came into our lives for a reason, and my mother just stated that we’re not giving up on him.
