Couple finds Chihuahua hiding in luggage before flight to Las Vegas

A Texas couple going to load onto a trip to Las Vegas didnt bet on finding this stowaway in their baggage their Chihuahua named Icky, who obviously needed to go along with them for the outing to Sin City. An overweight pack is the thing that warned them to their diminutive little guys misfortune.

They put it on the scale and this pack is fundamentally similar to five, five and a half pounds overweight, Jared Owens told KCBD-11 with regards to the stunning episode at the Southwest Airlines counter at Lubbock air terminal, where he and his significant other Kristi were checking in. Actually rapidly we resemble, Oh, we must adjust some stuff. Opens it up and in a real sense, theres our canine emerging from my boot emerging from my boot with his head bopping up, he said. Owens said the couples canine has an affinity for tunneling.

Shes the burrower, that is the thing that she does. She tunnels in garments, she tunnels in, clearly bags now, he said. But notwithstanding having an issue that remains to be worked out with itty-bitty Icky, the couple got fortunate when a Southwest worker named Cathy Cook proposed to deal with the dog while they progressed forward with their trip to Vegas.

They have an amazing worker in Cathy. She exceeded everyone’s expectations and never caused us to feel, you know, they might have turned us in saying we were attempting to carry a canine to Vegas or something, Jared told KCBD.

“Never acted like that, they were extremely gracious. Like I said, she was willing to watch our dog for us while we were gone,” he said, adding that he was happy they discovered Icky before boarding.“Thank goodness we found this dog because you would have gotten to Vegas and you probably would have had a deceased animal in your bag,” he said.
