Man Takes Care Of More Than 750 Dogs In His Shelter That Nobody Else Wanted

Those who do not value their selfless friendship abandon numerous animals on the streets.Thankfully, people like Sasha Pesic have been assisting homeless dogs and providing them with all of the care they require for many years.

This man, regarded as one of Serbia’s leading animal rights activists, founded his own shelter in 2008, which now houses 750 dogs.

The following year, Pesic was driving home when he came across four abandoned puppies. He couldn’t help but want to save them, and despite his limited financial resources, he began to devise a plan to assist them.

With the help of six volunteers, Sasha was able to start her shelter, providing a home and food for all of the animals, and she has been able to keep it running thanks to donations from all over the world. He knows the names of all the animals he cares for, vaccinates, sterilizes, and tags with a microchip.

Sasha has rescued approximately 1,200 dogs, with over 400 of them being adopted by people all over the world. He is without a doubt an excellent role model for everyone. This man is having issues with the owners of the land on which the refuge is located, who have asked him to leave.

When the matter became public, thousands of people signed a petition, compelling the government to back down, although temporarily.Sasha thanks everyone for their assistance and feels that the problem of so many abandoned dogs derives from a system that does not seek solutions but instead causes more harm.

According to Sasha,”Another concern is the owners’ irresponsible behavior in not neutering their dogs and dumping them outside when they are no longer needed, from “I have a newborn and can’t take care of the dog,” to “I don’t need it anymore.”

He receives no government support, and many veterinarians charge him high prices because they assume he has too much money from contributions.
