Man sees shaking dog lying in the middle of the street and jumps to help

There could be thousands, if not millions, of animals in desperate need of assistance. That is why, even though there are many people assisting animals in need, we could still do more.Just like Andreas did when he saw a dog in need of assistance.

Andreas currently resides in Bali, Indonesia. He is one of the people who founded Kintamani Campur, an animal rescue center.Andreas noticed a very weak dog shaking by the side of the road one day. It lacked fur, and it was clear that the poor dog required immediate assistance.

Andreas had no idea what to do, but when the dog saw him, she tried to sit up. She wanted to live and knew the man in front of her could assist her.Andreas took the poor dog to the vet without hesitation, and they diagnosed her with distemper.Andreas asked the vet to do everything possible to save the dog he called “Baley,” despite the fact that he had no idea what distemper was.

Distemper is a highly contagious viral disease that can affect a wide variety of animals. It is caused by the canine distemper virus (CDV), a virus in the Paramyxoviridae family that is highly contagious.High fever, coughing and sneezing, vomiting, and diarrhea are all symptoms of distemper.

You would also see some neurological signs such as seizures and paralysis, and in some cases, if left untreated or if treated late, it could cause death. There, she was treated and given the needed medicine for her illness.

Baley would frequently look for Andreas, and she felt at ease when he was present.Andreas could see the gratitude in Baley’s eyes even without words. She was overjoyed to be in such capable hands.

Andreas would drive to the vet clinic every day to check on Baley and spend time with her.The good Samaritan knew how important it was for Baley to know that someone cared about her.Baley soon began eating and drinking again, thanks to the love and care she received. Baley would try to lift her body and move her front and back legs every day.

Andreas made the decision to bring Baley home after noticing she was on the mend. She recovered quickly after moving into her new home. The dog thrived in the new and healthy environment, and formed a new friendship with Andreas and his other dog, Sophie.

Her tail wagged, her fur grew back, and she loved her new life!
