You are a very beautiful fur baby, and I am glad you were found safe. I adore you, sweetheart.Chunk, a 3-year-old Golden Retriever, was playing catch with his owners Marie and James Zangara on June 6 when he became sc.ared and ra.n into the woods.
Since Chunk went missing from his home on Sunday, his owner has tried everything to find him, including handing out flyers and calling the police. But it wasn’t until more than three weeks later that New Jersey State Police Soldiers Ryan Koehler got a call saying a golden retriever had been spotted swimming in Barnegat Bay on the Jersey Shore and needed their help rescuing it.
He jumped into the water when they tried to grab him.The officers directed the engine of the Zodiac boat to the dog, which was approximately 75 yards from the shore. They gently guide the puppy to the ground before lifting it onto a pier behind a rope house. He had swum nearly two miles across the bay by the time he was rescued.Chuck was extremely [ti.re.d] and appeared malnourished and on the verge of sta.rva.tion at the time.
Once on land, Chunk backed up and growled at the so.ldiers.They did, however, keep Chunk close by until the dog’s family arrived. When part of Chuck’s family recovered from their sh.o.ck, Chuck’s family breathed a sigh of relief, and the dog was overjoyed to see his family again.
Chunk, a three-year-old boy, has been mi.sing for more than two weeks. He was overjoyed to see his grateful owners again.Chuck, of course, will learn a lot as a result of this, and he will never dare to run away from home again!I am so relieved that he has returned safely.
Such a a beautiful Golden Retriever! We’re so very glad that he was found safe! Hugs to him as We love dogs and he is a true survivor.
