He was at the pier to scatter his grandmother’s ashes when he came across a drowning dog

Raden Soemawinata was having a terrible day.
He’d arrived at Brighton Pier in Melbourne to scatter his grandmother’s ashes in the bay.
It’s a terrible time in his life to which many of us can relate.
However, something happened while he was there that completely altered the day’s course.
According to top13.net, he had the opportunity to save a life while also saying goodbye to a life that meant a lot to him.

When he was still at the dock, a small Maltese-shih tzu ended up in the sea.
Bibi was so small that the strong winds from across the harbor pushed him off the pier and into the water. His owner, Sue Drummond, was terrified that her precious little puppy would drown.

Soemawinata did not take a breather.
He stripped to his underwear and jumped into the water, only wearing his underwear and a shirt.
Drummond, like the others who had gathered, sat back and waited to see what would happen.

Bibi was struggling in the water, but Soemawinata rescued him and returned him to the pier.Drummond, overjoyed to have her tiny pet back and safe, lavished him with a warm hug.She had no idea this was going to happen, but one thing is certain. If she doesn’t hold on tight, she won’t be at the dock with Bibi for long.

If Soemawinata had not been present, things would have turned out very differently.
Bibi is a small dog, and she might not have survived the ordeal.Soemawinata is now regarded as a hero for reasons other than simply being in the right place at the right time. He, too, noticed something and acted on it.His quick thinking saved a life and made one dog owner very happy.
