Dog with terminal cancer rejected by four families – then young man sees him and knows just what to do

To think that a family would reject an animal because it was sick is incomprehensible to us animal lovers, but that is exactly what Thanos the dog found himself in.This lovely big dog was turned down by his family because he had a cancerous tumor on his head and only had a few weeks to live.Thankfully, Thanos was welcomed into the home of Luciano Karosas from Berazategui in Buenos Aires, where he could live out his days with unconditional love.

While waiting to be adopted the sick pup had already been rejected by four families because of his illness. After hearing how many families had abandoned him due to his illness, the 21-year-old couldn’t help but shower this dog with love in his final weeks.Four families rejected

In addition to suffering from such a cruel illness, Thanos had to deal with constant rejection and being returned to the animal shelter by four different families who discovered they couldn’t care for the sick dog.”I came out holding a piece of my heart,” he told Portal Amigo Cao.Not only did Luciano want to make Thanos’ final days as comfortable as possible, but he also tried to save him by taking him to his local veterinary clinic to see if the tumor could be removed.

“It was difficult for me to adjust to the idea of how little time we would spend together,” he told Unilad.”I took him to a stem cell veterinarian to see what we could do to give him a little more hope (which had given him 40 days to live) and they told me there is no treatment that extends that time.”In his final weeks, it made him happy.

Following the heartbreaking news that nothing could be done, Luciano simply decided that the two would make the most of Thanos’s limited time.Thanos was lavished with love and pampering in his final weeks, but this cruel illness eventually took over and he died earlier this year.Taking to social media to pay tribute to his four-legged friend Luciano wrote: “I will love you forever.”

I can’t believe how many families rejected this sweet dog in his hour of need. All he needed as this terrible disease took over was some extra love.I’m relieved that he’s no longer in pain.

Please share in honor of Luciano, the big-hearted man who took Thanos in and loved him as he deserved.
Thanos, rest in peace.
