Missing Border Collie walks into police station and hands herself in

This is the incredible moment a lost Border Collie wandered into a police station and surrendered after becoming separated from its owner.

After becoming disoriented, Rosie walked through the automatic doors into the station’s waiting room in Loughborough, Leicestershire, last Friday.Her owner had been searching for her for hours but had been unsuccessful.Rosie, on the other hand, was reunited with her relieved owner an hour later.

‘Fortunately, she was wearing a collar, so a lead was available to contact Rosie’s owner, who was delighted she had been found safe and well,’ said Leicestershire Police.’Rosie was being walked nearby with another dog when she got away.What a lovely, astute dog.

‘Our staff went to get some water for Rosie and quickly became fast friends with a lot of fuss.’The video has received over 2,000 views and shares since it was posted on the police department’s Facebook page.

Users on social media were quick to express their thoughts on Rosie’s adventure.’She clearly followed signs for the nearest lost and hound!’ said Johnny Connell.’
