It was an ordinary day for rescuers until they received a call from a hiker who claimed to have seen six little puppies on a mountain top.They were stunned to learn this revelation. Who could have abandoned these poor, vulnerable newborns there?

They would not have survived on their own. They were only lucky that someone noticed them. The rescuers arrived at the scene right away after receiving the call.

When the rescuers came, they were startled by the puppies’ condition. They were all holding each other to keep warm.They were moist because it had probably rained the day before. The compassionate individuals observed that these adorable newborns were abandoned in a basket.

It was the only thing there. The rescuer carefully collected them all and placed them inside. None of them appeared terrified. In fact, they appeared pleased to see someone.I can’t comprehend why someone would leave children in such a terrible situation to starve. They do not deserve this.

Who knows how long they would have lived without their rescuers? They were subsequently transported back into the city, where one of the rescuers escorted them to his home.

Because they hadn’t eaten in a while, the rescuers fed them a large lunch. Even though they were first frightened about being indoors, things quickly changed.The rescuers saw that they were quite energetic after eating and were settling into their new surroundings.

They checked them and discovered there were four girls and two boys in total. Unfortunately, one of the puppies was totally blind.The rescuers decided that she was most likely born this way, and that it was not the result of an injury or disease.

After some time under their care, all of the puppies were vaccinated. They had no serious health difficulties and were expected to fully recover.As time passed, these lovely fuzzy babies became increasingly energetic. They enjoyed playing with their rescuers all the time.

Because they were old enough, their rescuers put them on an adoption list and began looking for a suitable home for them.While it may have appeared difficult for the blind puppy to find a home,

A gentle woman who lived in the residence was devastated as soon as she lay eyes on the puppy. She was exhausted and quite sad.The woman contacted Stray Rescue of St. Louis, informing them that there was a dog on her porch who desperately needed aid.

Donna Lochmann and her crew jumped into a rescue Jeep and drove to the family’s home to fetch her up.When they came, the rescuers approached the dog, and they were heartbroken when they saw her condition. Her thin body was covered in scars.

When the dog saw the rescuers, she couldn’t believe they were there to save her.There was a desolate look in her eyes. She seemed to have given up on herself.

Lochmann talked to her and gently stroked her head, trying to comfort her. She put a leash over her neck, and the pup, later named Tabea, agreed to come with her rescuers.They loaded her into the Jeep and drove her to the shelter.

After the pup underwent an X-ray, it was discovered that a portion of her tail was damaged.Unfortunately, it needed to be amputated.The veterinarian took fantastic care of Tabea, and she began to feel much better.

The gentle dog recognized she was appreciated, so she grew loving and trustworthy.Just when Tabea was improving, she developed an autoimmune illness that caused her neck and back agony.The tenacious girl refused to give up and continued to battle alongside her shelter buddies.

Tabea went to her foster home, where she received a lot of love and continued healing.

Elsa, the stray dog, was spotted roaming the streets with her companion, Hugo. She required immediate medical attention due to a severe mite infestation.

When Ray Animal Rescue approached her to assist, she was very cuddly and friendly. It seemed as if she knew they wanted to assist. She refused to be rescued for selfless reasons.

Elsa, a gorgeous female dog, was in critical condition when the Ray Animal Rescue crew discovered her. She was suffering from a serious mite infestation. Her skin was flaky, itchy, and inflamed, and she was continuously scratching. She also had patches on her body.

They attempted to rush her into a car and take her to the vet, but she refused for the most cutest reason ever. She was on the streets with her stray dog pal, Hugo, and she wanted him to go as well.After witnessing this amazing gesture of charity, the RAR staff brought Elsa and Hugo to their facility.

Elsa required 24 hour care for the first few months. To get rid of the mites, the staff had to bathe her every day for two months. This was a slow and high-maintenance procedure, but Elsa improved.

After a while in the RAR facility, she started eating better, had less skin patches, and began playing more.

Nonetheless, she was not well received by the other dogs because she was so large in compared to the rest of them. That’s why the team decided to locate her a foster home. And this is exactly what they did.

Elsa found a new, supportive foster home with another doggo friend.

Elsa found the perfect forever home after months of seeking! Her foster family became her permanent family, which makes both parties quite happy.Despite the fact that she was the family’s second dog, she adapted beautifully and had a great relationship with everyone.

Elsa, on the other hand, honed her social skills in her foster home to the point where she looked forward to seeing visitors. In some ways, her new family helped her, a normally reclusive dog, mature into a joyful, friendly house pet.

She’s now the happiest puppy alive! She enjoys frolicking around with her family members, but that’s not all she does.

Aside from her miniature back yard antics, she enjoys walking, going to the beach, and spending time with her family cats. That is right! She has two furry buddies with whom she enjoys taking periodic naps! She does not mind being teased or climbed on.

Long, whose group, Texas Fawn and Friends, specializes in saving orphaned deer, chose to take in the raccoon. Jasper was his name.”We weren’t sure he was going to make it,” Long admitted to The Dodo.Jasper lived because of Long’s generosity and care, and he’s now paying it forward.

Despite reaching adulthood and being free to venture out on his own, Jasper has chosen to remain a resident of Long’s deer refuge. He now joyfully shares the spacious territory with the 75 orphaned deer in Texas Fawn and Friends’ care — but one in particular has definitely captured his heart.

Hope is her name. She, too, lost her mother when she was a child. But Jasper makes certain she is never alone.Jasper lived because of Long’s generosity and care, and he’s now paying it forward.

“Jasper just loves her,” Long said. “When he sees her, he runs to lick and love on her. It’s just the cutest thing.”

Jasper and Hope are doing well. And everything is on their terms.

“He sees her every day,” said Long. “She comes in the evening and lays next to him. They’re having a great time together.”

Long expects to care for approximately 100 orphaned fawns this year, all of them would certainly perish if it weren’t for the dedication and hard work of Texas Fawn And Friends. Their lives aren’t only rescued there; they’re given a chance to thrive.Long would prefer it that way.

“It’s very rewarding work,” she explained.
