However, the family had to relocate from one Houston suburb to another in 2017, and the pet was lost shortly before they left.After three long years, an elderly dog who was lost in 2017 has been returned to her loving family.Hurricane Harvey buried the last hope of locating a four-legged companion, causing significant damage to local infrastructure.


They couldn’t update Maddy’s microchip, which contained basic data.The Lost Dogs of Texas Facebook page was the last hope.In early 2021, one of the volunteers discovered the little fugitive, and the data from the chip was rendered ineffective, but their comparison with the information on the site yielded results.The family was found in less than a day thanks to a special program!They never forgot Maddie, didn’t replace her with other pets, and kept looking for her.

And when the fluffy was returned, they surrounded her with love and care.The elderly dog has returned home.And, as if there hadn’t been four years apart: general attention, hugs, and love.Nobody wants to lose loved ones, but it is through this experience that you learn the value of relationships.
