Adorable video of a lion father meeting his cub for the first time has gone viral, winning over a million hearts online.
The video of lion dad, Tobia, crushing his front legs and bending down to greet his baby cub was one of the most shared videos from the Denver Zoo.
The two generations met for the first time, and the big lion’s actions toward his son as he bent down to interact with his baby cub quickly went viral on the internet.
Many people have praised the father for his gentle demeanor.
Lions spend the majority of their time sleeping, growling, and feasting on food that lionesses hunt for them, and they occasionally attack their young.
When the Denver Zoo staff witnessed the unusual relationship, they couldn’t believe it.
They couldn’t stop themselves from filming and posting a fascinating video of the two.
Within minutes, it went viral.
The adorable baby lion was born at the zoo and spent the majority of his time with his mother.
The staff wanted to see what would happen when he first met his father and videotaped it.
Since his first meeting with his father, the cub has spent a lot of time with him, his mother, and his half-sister.
He now spends the majority of his time away from the public eye because he is still so small and needs time to grow and become stronger.
Neliah and Tobias, the cub’s parents, are adorable in their attention to his every need!
We hope the adorable cub has a happy life at the Denver Zoo with his forever family.
According to the Denver Zoo,
Half of Africa’s lions have vanished in the last 25 years, and the species is under threat from poaching, prey loss, and habitat destruction.
The birth of the cub is a huge success for the Lion Species Survival Plan (SSP), which works to ensure healthy, genetically diverse lion populations within Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) institutions.
We hope that seeing our little lion cub will inspire people to take action to help protect his wild counterparts and other wildlife around the world.
