A dedicated wildlife guard takes a nap with four orphaned bears to help them sleep

Despite the fact that these creatures weigh around 1,500 pounds, some people do their best for their love of wildlife.
This committed wildlife keeper will go to any length to keep the four bears in his care.
Even if it means sleeping next to them.

Jim Kowalczik has always been an animal lover who has worked tirelessly to help and protect animals, particularly bears.
So, in order to help all the orphaned bear cubs, Jim and his wife Susan established The Orphaned Wildlife Center in Otisville, New York.

Since 1990, the couple has cared for far too many needy bears.
But Jim had never felt such a strong connection with any of the animals who lived here as he does with his four favorite bears (two Kodiak bears and two Syrian brown bears).

These four arrived at the Center nearly ten years ago, and a very strong and special bond has developed between them and the person who cares for them over time.

They have such a special relationship that Jim sleeps with them to feel at ease.
This benevolent man is seen sleeping next to his four giant friends in a series of touching scenes.

As you might expect, Jim and his furry friends sleep next to each other but participate in a variety of fun activities together.
Everyone appears to enjoy playing in the snow.
