A cute German shepherd, who is too sociable for the police, gets an even better job
|Meet Gavel, a German shepherd who is the polar opposite of the typical police dog.He is always friendly and cheerful, so he does not fit into this role.

Because of his cute and friendly demeanor, the German shepherd from Queensland, Australia, was kicked out of his police dog training program.Fortunately, he was able to find a new job in the same field.
They had no idea what to do with him on the first day. However, after some time, a staff member had an idea. The dog’s personality would fit right in with politics.

The jovial Gavel is now the Vice-Regal Dog, with a permanent residence in the Government House.Instead of chasing bad guys, Gavel now greets distinguished guests of the Government House.

He’s outgrown four ceremonial coats, changed careers, and brought untold joy to the Governor, Mrs. De Jersey, Government House staff, and the thousands of Queenslanders who’ve visited the estate since.
Gavel VRD, which stands for Vice-Regal-Dog, is now his official title.

After some thought, the new job appears to be a perfect fit for Gavel.Despite this, he is a royal blood dog with a long line of pedigree. He should have made an excellent police dog tracker genetically.Gavel essentially desired to be a dog.

Jersey hopes Gavel will stay with them for a long time because they adore him.
