It was a particularly gloomy day, and Imgur user Amsoclie was looking for the baby deer she usually cares for, but she didn’t find any one of them. When she came back inside, she found the three unexpected visitors seeking shelter from the brewing storm. The baby deer already decided to get comfy and found a perfect space in Amsoclie’s living room to stay dry and away from the storm. Amsoclie, amused, took a photo of the babies and posted it on Imgur.
It turned out they used the back door she accidentally left open to sneak inside the house.
I care for orphaned wildlife. As a storm approached, the rear door was left open. There were no deer to be found. I went inside and was on my way to the front door when I noticed them next to an end table in the living room. Amsoclie noted in one of her blogs, “I told them they could sleep in the house for the night because it was going to be nasty.”
Amsoclie’s house is located near the woods. So, it has always been home to stray animals and she always had a soft spot for orphaned ones. She would play with them for a bit and feed them sometimes.
As a result, when the storm hit, the fawns were safe and warm in Amsoclie’s home. They slept soundly and lavished her with kisses as a thank you for allowing them to spend the night.
