As the Tropical Storm Imelda overflowed the Texas territory, a Harris County man ascended to the event to spare a few stranded creatures from suffocating.
He put his own life hanging in the balance and went through hours protecting these creatures.

This heartbreaking rescue video was taken in the man’s neighborhood to the north of Kingwood, where the flood water has touched the roofline of most houses.
Although the people were evacuated to safety, the animals didn’t have much luck.
