
Sometimes the best present is not found under the Christmas tree. A lost pug received a meaningful cuddle from one New York boy.
A youngster who had lost his dog several weeks before had an emotional reunion with his 2-year-old puppy on December 3, according to WGRZ. April Licata of Rochester surprised her son by picking him up from school. The pug, named Piper, wagging his tail fiercely in the front seat of the family automobile as Carter Licata approached, according to the local station.
The youngster’s reaction was wonderful.
April Licata used social media to publish notices and make many pleas in an attempt to locate the animal, but her efforts were futile until December 2. According to the news station, April Licata received a phone call from the Genessee County Animal Shelter at that time.
WGRZ said that officials told April Licata that there was a dog matching Piper’s description, and she confirmed it was the family dog.Carter Licata’s pet was dressed in bows when he got home from school on December 3. According to the television station, the duo had an emotional reunion as April Licata was filming it.
Piper’s return is likely to be the most significant gift the Licata family will receive this Christmas.
