A delightful little dog discovered dumped at a landfill has a long, glad life to anticipate because of a rescuer’s every day schedule. Discovering hounds at the nearby landfill is a practically every day event for creature rescuer Takis Proestakis.
Truth be told, it was his salvage of one deserted canine at the landfill that lead him to build up Takis Shelter. Undesirable mutts are frequently tossed out like junk at the landfill on Greece’s island of Crete. As the landfill is on the way to Takis Shelter, Takis unavoidably drives home with another pooch. That is the thing that occurred on this specific day, when Takis spots Samu.
Samu nearly mixed into his environment – his white hide a similar shading as the sleeping pad he was taking cover behind. “Here we are once more,” says Takis in the salvage video (see beneath), as he lets his pooch Zoe out of his vehicle. Takis trusts that Zoe will help bait the young doggie to him and it works. When the little guy is securely in his vehicle, Takis can’t resist the urge to respect the doggie.
“Take a gander at this lovely face,” he says, taking note of this specific pup still has a hands on on.Takis takes Samu back to his asylum, which is settled on a mountainside in the midst of an olive woods. At some random time the haven is home to 300 canines.
Samu was shy at first, but the puppy soon relaxes around the other animals and begins to play with the other dogs at the shelter. It doesn’t take long for Samu to catch the eye of a foreign visitor, who fosters dogs for Takis in her home in Finland. Samu is soon in Finland and befriends two other dogs rescued from Takis Shelter. He is on his way to having the happiest life!
