If you ask us, Poppy deserves a medal for valor or at least some type of honor for her bravery as an acknowledgment for what the poor pup went through. Not only was poor little Poppy maimed but she dragged herself to safety past fearsome predators like elephants, lions, and hyenas. Basically, Poppy is one hell of a fighter.
Poppy was just a puppy when she sustained an injury that crushed her spine. Her rear legs were rendered immobile as she suffered from her injury for weeks or potentially months.Despite her injury, she somehow made her way to a remote elephant research camp in Botswana, dragging her legs behind her.
